Patterns & Features

What makes these patterns different from a regular PDF?

Our patterns are interactive. Instead of a static document, you get step-by-step guidance with a built-in stitch counter, tap-for-definitions on abbreviations, automatic progress saving, and three different view modes. Everything you need is in one place — no juggling multiple apps.

What are the three view modes?

Single mode shows one step at a time for focused work. Preview mode shows the current step plus the steps before and after it. List mode shows all steps in the pattern so you can read ahead or jump to any section.

Will my progress be saved if I close the app?

Yes! Your progress is automatically saved as you work. If you're signed in, it syncs to your account so you can pick up on any device. Even without an account, progress is saved locally on your device.

Can I use the patterns offline?

Patterns you've opened are cached on your device and available offline. Your progress will sync back to the server when you reconnect.

What does "tap for definitions" mean?

When you see an underlined abbreviation in a pattern (like "sc" or "dc"), you can tap it to see the full name and a clear explanation of how to do the stitch. No more googling abbreviations mid-row!

Skill Levels

I'm a complete beginner. Can I use these patterns?

Absolutely! Start with patterns marked "Beginner" — they use basic stitches, include detailed explanations, and have helpful tips along the way. Our stitch glossary is also a great learning resource.

How are difficulty levels determined?

Beginner patterns use basic stitches (chain, single crochet, double crochet) and simple construction. Intermediate patterns introduce new techniques like color changes, shaping, or working in the round. Advanced patterns involve complex stitch patterns, detailed shaping, or multiple components.

Purchasing & Account

Are there free patterns?

Yes! We always have free patterns available so you can experience the interactive features before purchasing. Free patterns include all the same features — stitch counter, abbreviation tooltips, progress saving, and more.

Do I need an account to use a free pattern?

No — you can start a free pattern right away without signing up. Creating an account lets you save progress across devices and access your purchased patterns anywhere.

How does purchasing work?

Patterns are one-time purchases — no subscription required. Once you buy a pattern, it's yours forever. Payments are securely processed through Stripe.

Can I get a refund?

Because digital patterns can't be returned, we encourage you to try our free patterns first to make sure you love the experience. If you have an issue with a purchased pattern, please contact us and we'll make it right.

Troubleshooting

I think I found an error in a pattern. What should I do?

While following a pattern, tap "Report an issue with this step" below any step. This sends a report directly to us so we can review and fix it quickly. Pattern accuracy is our top priority.

My screen keeps turning off while I'm crocheting.

Look for the sun/moon icon in the pattern viewer header — tapping it activates screen wake lock, which keeps your screen on while you craft. This feature works on most modern browsers.
